LASU 2017/18 Supplementary Admission List Released !!!


We wishes to inform and notify members of the general public, that the Lagos State University, LASU Supplementary Admission Lists for the 2017/18 academic session has been released by the school management board.
According to information on our news desk, the council of the Lagos State University Ojo, Lasu has announced, through her public relation officer that the supplementary Admission list, which contains the names of all successful candidates who participate in its Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination for the 2017/18 academic session, has been released online and all participants can now check their admission status using this instructions.
The Lasu supplementary admission list, which contains the names of all successfully admitted candidates who have been offered provisional admission into various degree programmes of the Lagos State University Ojo has been publish on the University’s official portal.
To check your admission status on the supplementary admission list, kindly follow the instructions shared below.

How to Check 2017/18 Lasu Supplementary Admission List


1. All participants can now proceed and check their admission status on jamb website by clicking here;

2. When it loads up, on the landing page, you will be required to enter your Jamb registration number in the space provided.
Then click on the title “CHECK admission status”.

Important Notice

It is very important for all candidates to take note that the supplementary lists are currently been uploaded regularly on the jamb portal, which means that candidates whose names are not on the current list, are to keep on checking their admission status on JAMB website.
While for all candidates whose name appeared on the list, here is something important you should note.
If any admitted candidate discovered that his/her admission details differs from the one yet to be uploaded or already uploaded on the preferred institution’s website, it is important for such candidate to immediately report such to the admission office of the Lagos State University.

The management of Lagos State University, Lasu has released First Batch Admission List for the 2017/18 academic session has been released and made available online.
The Lagos State University First Batch Admission List was just released some few minutes ago, and it is now available to all prospective candidates and Aspirants to access the admission list and check their admission status.
The 2017 Lagos State University first batch admission list which was released some few minutes ago, is now being distributed among most departments of the educational institution and paste on the noticeboards, however, there is absolutely no need to go check the noticeboards, since the list is uploaded and can be checked online.

FUOYE 2017/18 Pre-Degree Application Form Released!!




ADMISSION INTO PRE-DEGREE PROGRAMME FOR 2017/2018 ACADEMIC SESSION
Applications are hereby invited from suitably qualified candidates for admission into the Federal University Oye-Ekiti, Pre-Degree Programme for the 2017/2018 Academic Session.

1.0      ELIGIBILITY
Eligible Candidates must possess minimum of 5 Credits in SSCE/NECO at a maximum of two sittings including English Language (for ALL Courses), Mathematics (for Science-based and Social Science-based Courses) and Literature-in-English (Humanities). However, students with deficiencies may apply, provided the deficiencies would have been rectified before the completion of the Pre-Degree Session.

2.0      DURATION
The programme normally runs for two (2) contact periods both within nine (9) calendar months.
3.0      REGISTRATION FEE
Each candidate will be required to pay Ten Thousand Naira (N10, 000.00) only, excluding bank charges as Registration fee.

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
To be eligible for admission to a Postgraduate programme of the University, the candidate must possess five O’ Level credit passes in English Language, Mathematics and any other three relevant subjects at not more than two sittings.
A.   POSTGRADUATE DIPLOMA (PGD)
To be eligible for admission to the PGD programme, candidates must be holders of third class honors first degree in a relevant discipline from any university or holders of Higher National Diploma (HND) at minimum of upper Credit in a relevant discipline. For unclassified HND Certificates, a CGPA of 3.5(5- point scale) and 3.00 (4-point scale) or 60% shall be taken as equivalent to upper credit.

B.   MASTERS DEGREE (M.Sc.)
To be eligible for admission to the Master’s degree programme, candidates must.
i.  Be graduates of Michael Okpara University of Agriculture Umudike or any other recognized Universities by Senate and shall have obtained a first degree with at least Second Class Honors.
ii. Possess a first degree with Third Class Honors from a recognized University and at least an Upper Credit at Postgraduate Diploma in a relevant field, or
iii. Possess the Higher National Diploma (HND), with at least Upper Credit and Postgraduate Diploma in a relevant field from a recognized institution, or
iv. Any other certificate or qualification that may be acceptable to Senate.

C.   DOCTOR OF PHILOSOPHY DEGREE (Ph.D.).
To be eligible for admission to the Doctor of Philosophy degree programme, a candidate shall have obtained a Master’s Degree which includes course work and research from this or its equivalent from any other University recognized by Senate in relevant disciplines, with Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of at least 4.0 (5- point scale) or 3.00 (4- point scale).
Method of Application
Interested candidate should obtain application forms from the Postgraduate School with ten thousand naira (N10, 000) paid by obtaining RRR (Remita Code) through which payment will be made to Michael Okpara University of Agriculture, Umudike at any bank. With the teller, obtain a receipt from the bursary unit of Postgraduate School.
Completed application forms and all relevant documents should be enclosed in an envelope marked PG Admission and return to:

Academic transcript should be forwarded from the institution of origin to the same address before the closing date. Please note that any candidate whose transcript is not received will NOT be considered for admission.
Closing Date
Closing date for the receipt of completed application forms and transcript for the 2017/2018 is two months from date of publication.
