KASU Postgraduate Admission Form 2018/2019 Is Out



Kaduna State University, KASU Postgraduate admission form for 2018/2019 academic session application is out on sale. The application and registration details have been released and reproduced here. Interested persons can scroll down to find those details.
Applications are hereby invited from suitably qualified candidates for admission into the Postgraduate Programmes at Kaduna State University for the 2018/2019 academic session.

KADUNA STATE UNIVERSITY POSTGRADUATE ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

Requirements For ALL Candidates
1.      All candidates must complete the online Application Form of the University on this portal. No admission into the University’s Postgraduate Programmes is valid without duly applying through this portal.
2.      In all cases, Kaduna State University Management is under no obligation to enter into correspondence on its decision with any candidate.
3.      All admissions are provsional, and Candidates offered such provisional admissions shall be required to present originals of their credentials at the point of registration.
Postgraduate Diploma (PGD) Programmes Requirements
1.      Five credit passes including English Language and Mathematics at ‘O’ Level at maximum of two sittings;
2.      Relevant Bachelor’s degree from a recognised University not lower than Third Class; or
3.      Bachelor’s degree with at least Second Class (Lower Division) in area not related to the field applying for may be considered; and
4.      Higher National Diploma (HND) with a minimum of Merit in related field of study from a Polytechnic or any recognised institution
Academic Masters Degree (MSc) Programmes Requirements
1.      Five credit passes including English Language and Mathematics at ‘O’ Level at maximum of two sittings;
2.      First Degree of Kaduna State University or any recognised university in relevant field with a minimum of Second Class (Lower Division); and
3.      A Candidate with a Postgraduate Diploma with a CGPA of not less than 3.50
Professional Masters Degree Programmes Requirements
1.      Five credit passes including English Language and Mathematics at ‘O’ Level at maximum of two sittings;
2.      First Degree of Kaduna State University or any recognised university in relevant field with a minimum of Second Class (Lower Division); and
3.      A candidate with a Third Class Degree or HND and a Postgraduate Diploma from Kaduna State University or any recognised institution with a CGPA of not less than 3.50
Doctor of Philosophy Programmes (Accounting and Business Administration only)
1.      Five credit passes including English Language and Mathematics at ‘O’ Level at maximum of two sittings;
2.      First Degree of Kaduna State University or any recognised university in relevant field with a minimum of Second Class (Lower Division); and
3.      Masters Degree of Kaduna State University or any recognised university in the proposed field of study with minimum CGPA of 3.50

KASU POSTGRADUATE FORM AND HOW TO APPLY FOR ADMISSION FOR 2018/2019 ACADEMIC SESSION (PGD, MASTERS)

Interested candidates for all the KASU postgraduate programmes should log on to the Kaduna State University Portal: www.kasu.edu.ng and click on the School of Postgraduate Studies button and follow the procedures below:
a. Begin your application by creating a Profile.
b. Continue your Registration by login with your Profile details.
c. Fill the Application Form.
Print the completed Application Form for your personal use. You will require the document in the course of the admission and registration.
Please note that the University will not enter into correspondence on its decision with any candidate.
Candidates offered provisional admission will be required to produce transcripts of academic record and originals of their credentials at the point of registration.

APPLICATION CLOSING DATE

Deadline for submission of completed KASU Postgraduate Programme admission application form is Friday 7th September, 2018. Applicants are encouraged to submit copies of the Application Forms and Transcripts of Academic Record to the Secretary, School of Postgraduate Studies, Kaduna State University, Tafawa Balewa way, Kaduna.
NB: Notwithstanding compliance with the above conditions, all admissions offered are provisional and the School of Postgraduate Studies reserves the right to offer, confirm or deny admission.
